When S.P is TK 125, cost price is TK 100
250 " " " " (100 X 250)/ 125 = 200 TK

Selling price of an article = Tk. 250 , Profit = 25%
Cost price = (100×SP) ÷ (100+gain%)
=(100×250) ÷ (100+25)
=(100×250) ÷ 125
= Tk. 200
